We have decided to no longer support user logins to this site, due to two reasons:
1 - There is no additional content not publically available that warrents having a login, and
2 - Most of the user account requests recieved come from automated 'bots'
You do NOT need a username/password on this site to use APRS, so in addition to no longer taking new account registrations we have removed all non-administrator/contributer accounts previously created.

There's been a considerable large amount of spam accounts being created that I ask that you please use your CALLSIGN as your intended username. This way it's a lot easier to pick out the legitimate accounts from the bad ones.

Users may now register themselves to this website.
Member services within the Australian national APRS site at this stage is only the ability to upload APRS map content for others to share, however in the future addtional services such as discussion forums and linking to the OZAPRS mailing list may be added.
We have just added a new section to the website so that users can share APRS maps with the wider community.
Maps will be accepted in ZIP format, with the ZIP file containing one or more map images, as well as the calibration files for UI-View, Xastir or both (or other formats if required). The Maps page on this site is configured so that you can search by region or even by calibration file type (.inf or .geo) so that you can easily find what you are looking for.
To upload maps you will need a login... If you have maps that you would like to upload, please request a login via the contact form (Website Feedback)
As you probably noticed, the website has had a major overhaul.
This new site is based on a Content Management System (CMS) , which allows much greater flexibility in having different people maintaining different areas of the site. It also allows for many new features such as...
- Allows the individual state APRS sites to integrate into the main site if they want to;
- National and State APRS news items;
- A coming events section for people to inform us of upcoming events that may be of interest to the APRS community;
- Improved online live APRS mapping pages;
Feedback is always welcome. If you would like to assist in maintaining any of the areas of this site, or have any other feedback on the website, please don't hesitate to let us know, using the contact form.
